Artist Comments: West Lake Tohopekaliga, or Lake Toho, as it is more commonly know as, is the northern most navigable of the Kissimme chain of lakes. This was a childhood weekend spot for Karissa and she asked if we could go back. The painting was taken from a photo I took on an airboat ride over the west side of the lake, which featured alligators, osprey, and nearly every kind of florida waterfowl imaginable.
